TrolleyFire – Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TrolleyFire (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.

TrolleyFire is a community‑driven platform where users may upload product information, prices, images, comments, and other user‑generated content (“UGC”). You understand and agree that all UGC is the sole responsibility of the user who submitted it.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. User Accounts

To upload content or interact with certain features, you must create an account using Supabase Authentication. You agree to keep your login credentials secure, not share your account with others, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User‑Generated Content (UGC)

Users may upload product information, prices, images, comments, and other content. By submitting UGC, you confirm that you own the rights to the content or have permission to use it, that it does not infringe any rights, and that it is lawful, accurate, and appropriate.

You grant TrolleyFire a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to store, display, and distribute your UGC as part of the Service. We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to remove any UGC that violates these Terms, is misleading, harmful, inappropriate, or contains personal data or copyrighted material without permission.

6. Accuracy of Information

TrolleyFire is a community‑driven platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy of product prices, availability, supermarket information, or user comments. You use the information at your own risk. We are not responsible for incorrect, outdated, or misleading information uploaded by users.

7. No Professional Advice

All information on TrolleyFire is provided for general reference only and does not constitute professional, financial, or commercial advice.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, no downtime, no data loss, or error‑free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

9. Third‑Party Services

TrolleyFire relies on third‑party providers, including Supabase (authentication, database, storage) and Cloudflare (hosting, caching, security). We are not responsible for outages, data loss, or limitations caused by third‑party services or browsers.

10. Intellectual Property

All branding, design, and code of TrolleyFire are owned by the operator unless otherwise stated. Users retain ownership of their UGC but grant TrolleyFire a licence to display and distribute it as part of the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrolleyFire is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on user‑generated content or inaccurate information. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrolleyFire and its operators from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service, your UGC, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or rights of others.

13. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, upload harmful or illegal content, misuse the platform, or attempt to disrupt the Service. You may delete your account by contacting us.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by United Kingdom law for UK users and Hong Kong SAR law for Hong Kong users. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
